What happens after my scrap car is taken away?
Your vehicle is disposed of in an environmentally friendly way. It goes through the strict processes we follow. We strip all of the recyclable parts of the vehicle prior to it being crushed.
Can I claim back the unused road tax?
Yes, you will need to get a v14 form from the post office or take a look at the DVLA website.
How quickly can you some to tow away my scrap car?
If you are situated in the Birmingham area then when you call us out we can be with you within the hour.
Are you only able to tow away cars?
No, we can easily take a wide variety of other vehicles for scrap as well.
Shall I notify the DVLA that I no longer own the car?
No, we notify the DVLA that you have scrapped your vehicle (as long as the logbook is supplied with the car).
Should I remove the fuel from my scrap car?
This is entirely up to you; this is not necessary as we are more than happy to drain the fluids as this is actually part of the recycling process.
